For the love of shoes
Kōbō Mono, the blog
Kōbō Mono means “workshop thing” in Japanese (工房物 or 工房もの). This is a nod to the unparalleled craftsmanship that goes into creating boots and shoes that last a lifetime.
I also lived in Japan for a while, and even though I left the country many years ago, I kept a deep connection to Japanese culture and a love for its aesthetics.
The Kōbō Mono blog exists to:
explore the world of quality footwear
connect with the fellow enthusiasts
Kōbō Mono, the dream
I’ll be level with you: I want to start a men’s boot business. One of the many reasons that led to the birth of this blog was my realization that finding people to buy the boots is much harder than actually making them.
So, I’m solving the hard problem first: building a community a footwear enthusiasts.
This is where I’m, going to leave it, for now. I’m not launching anything any time soon, except more blog posts :)
